Increased pace of new construction

In 2010, the Future Group had a production of 688 rental apartments and 216 houses with private ownership. The Group's ambition, the coming years, is to produce at least 600 ready for rental apartments per year. In addition to that there will also be close to 150 houses and condominiums. Our goal is that the Future Group will have 1000 apartments under construction in 2011. Gothenburg needs more rental apartments and the Future Group is driving the development.

Familjebostäder builds Swan labeled rental apartments

The three houses on Riksdalersgatan in Högsbo are the first in Scandinavia to be provided with a Swan label. The properties will include 99 rental apartments, one house is completed and tenants has already started to move in. The Swan license means that Familjebostäder has license for more Swan labeled projects in the future. 

- We've been looking forward to cross the finish line with the Swan label, says Micael Jansson, construction manager at Familjebostäder.
- That we together with our contractor has been able to meet the requirements of a complex product as a multi-familyhouse shows that we are at the forefront of green building.

Bostadsbolaget builds non-smoking rental apartments

- We get calls everyday from people looking to move into a completely non-smoking environment. Being able to live in a non-smoking environment is today a privilege for those who have their own house, says Inger-Lena Bennman, Communication Manager at Bostadsbolaget.

In the new non-smoking apartments it will not be allowed to smoke anywhere in the building, including on balconies or in the yard.

The construction is in full progress and tenants can move in during August / September 2012. In addition to the building with the 43 non-smoking apartments a similar building are including in the project with 43 ​​additional rental apartments.
